Ansiosos por Nada (Anxious for Nothing)

En todo momento tenemos mucha ansiedad, pero existe una receta para lidiar con ella. Max Lucado invita a los lectores a un estudio de Filipenses 4.6-7 donde el Apóstol Pablo amonesta a los seguidores de Cristo, "Por nada esteis afanosos...".

Filipenses 4.6 anima a los creyentes "Por nada esteis afanosos". Como Lucado lo afirma, el apóstol Pablo da muy poca libertad al respecto. "Por nada esteis afanosos. Nada. Ninguno. Cero". ¿Qué es lo que sugiere? ¿Que no deberíamos inquietarnos por absolutamente nada? Lucado dice, "La presencia de la ansiedad es inevitable, pero la prisión de la ansiedad es opcional. Es vivir en ansiedad constante lo que Pablo quiere abordar. No dejes que nada te mantenga en perpetua angustia".

"Con su ayuda, aprenderás a enfrentar las calamidades de la vida. Guiado por el Espíritu Santo, aprenderás a ver las malas noticias a través de los ojos de la soberanía; a discernir las mentiras de Satanás y a decirte a ti mismo la verdad. Manifestarás una dulzura evidente para los demás. La ansiedad viene con la vida. Pero no tiene que dominar su vida".

Anxiety is at an all time high, but there's a prescription for dealing with it. Max Lucado invites readers into a study of Philippians 4:6-7 where the Apostle Paul admonishes the followers of Christ, "Do not be anxious about anything..."

Philippians 4.6 encourages the believer to "be anxious for nothing." As Lucado states, the apostle Paul seems to leave little leeway here. "Be anxious of nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zero." What's he suggesting? That we should literally be anxious for absolutely nothing? Lucado says, "The presence of anxiety is unavoidable, but the prison of anxiety is optional. It's the life of perpetual anxiety that Paul wants to address. Don't let anything in life leave you perpetually in angst."
