Tammy Faye Messner helped build the three largest Christian television networks in the world: CBN, with Pat Robertson; TBN, with Paul Crouch; and PTL, with Jim Bakker. She spent more than twenty-five years in television and live performance. After an eleven year long struggle with cancer, Tammy Faye Messner passed away on July 20, 2007. She is survived by two children Tammy Sue (Sissy) Bakker Chapman and Jamie Charles (Jay) Bakker.
