PEGGE BERNECKER is a spiritual director, retreat leader and media review editor for Presence, an international journal published by Spiritual Directors International. She received her B.A. in English from the University of California, Irvine, and now attends Regis University for advanced Biblical studies. Her short story, "One Mother’s Dream," appears in Chicken Soup for the Christian Soul II (Health Communications). She also wrote God…Any Time, Any Place: The Many Ways College Students Pray (Ave Maria Press). She resides in Fort Collins, Colorado, with her husband, Jim, and son, Justin.
