Michael Marler was raised in Charlotte NC into a large working class family. He is currently a career Firefighter and Pastor and lives in Lincoln County NC with his beautiful wife Brandy and their two children. Michael loves being a firefighter and it has given him the opportunity to serve the people in his community. God gave Michael a strong desire to live the Christian life at an early age. After years of struggle and confusion about his faith he surrendered to God’s call. While reading scripture one day God revealed to Michael that it was time to take his faith serious and serve Him. As a minister at his local church he enjoys teaching the Word of God and counseling families. God gave Michael a great burden and passion to help marriages and families prosper and reach their potential. “Married on Purpose” is Michael’s first devotional book.
