This physically frail but spiritually robust woman has a remarkable ministry which stressed the centrality of the cross of Christ in the life and experience of the Christian. Her life spanned much of the last half of the nineteenth century and the first quarter of the twentieth. She was present during eth Welsh Revival of 1904-1905. Her writings include more than twenty books which have blessed readers for decades.
