Gene Markland
Gene accepted the Lord Jesus as his personal Savior at the age of twelve and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit at the age of seventeen. He followed the Lord's call to ministry at the age of twenty-three and holds Ministerial Credentials with the Church of God. He followed the path into Street Ministry, Coffee House Ministry, Television Ministry, Food Ministry, large events and concerts, Radio Ministry, and now the Internet. Gene served as a Ministry Coach on staff at the Christian Broadcasting Network in the National Prayer Center, and is a contributing writer for cbn.com and The Church Guide. It has been his joy to preach, teach, and serve as a musician at his local church. Gene is a self-employed business owner. He lives in Virginia Beach, VA with his wife of 42 years, Martha, and their daughter Laura, a graduate of George Mason University.
