Gene Madia
• After four years in the Air Force and a tour in Vietnam, Gene began working at the Westinghouse Research Center in 1967. • He was attending the University of Pittsburgh’s night school for engineering when in 1973 he came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. • From that time on he has had an unquenchable thirst to teach and preach the Word of God. Putting PITT on hold, he pursued Biblical studies and Seminary. • He and his wife Marie are the proud parents of five girls, Gina, Angela, Marlo, Dana, and Carmen. Gene loves being a husband and dad. • He has been a preacher, teacher, pastor, and a part of many different Christian organizations in various roles, all the while working his secular job to support his family. He always felt this better fit the New Testament model that has been set before us in scripture. • Gene also loves to dig into the scriptures to find what is called ‘the pearl of great price.’ • Now retired, he is still preaching and teaching when asked, and he is finding fulfillment in writing commentaries on Biblical topics and books of the Bible. • His greatest blessings are his wife of 52 years, his five daughters and their husbands, and his sixteen grandchildren.
