Ehud Netzer (PhD, Hebrew University) is professor emeritus at the Institute of Archaeology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has initiated and directed excavations at several building projects of Herod the Great and is the author of the award-winning Masada, vol. 3, The Buildings: Stratigraphy and Architecture.
