Zaner-Bloser Spelling Connections Grade 1: Student & Teacher Editions (Homeschool Bundle)

The Zaner-Bloser Spelling Connections program provides students with explicit spelling instruction that will help them retain, internalize, and transfer spelling knowledge from their spelling assignments to all areas of life and literacy.

Using a weekly plan with four worksheet pages per week, each lesson delivers meaningful instruction and practice opportunities. Word lists are organized so students can see the relationships among words, visually reinforcing valuable pattern- and rule-based instruction.

The Student Edition provides comprehensive daily spelling practice by connecting spelling to thinking, phonics/ vocabulary, reading, and writing through engaging exercises and activities. This Grade 1 workbook begins with an overview of phonemic awareness and sounds and letters and is followed by 35 units covering related word groups; cumulative review units are integrated. A punch-out "My Student Dictionary" is included in the back.

The Teacher's Edition includes step-by-step lesson plans, weekly test options, and activities for daily differentiated instruction.
