Every single story in the Bible is about God. This includes the stories of the forty women and men you'll read about in this book. You've probably heard of some of them before, like Abraham and Esther and David. Others may be less familiar, like Shiphrah and Puah and Mephibosheth. Some followed God, and some didn't. But all of them were used by God in His story of redemption. The Bible is full of stories about imperfect people and a perfect God. But all of these stories point us to truths about God-that He is loving, He is powerful, and He is good!
