"Understanding Psalms for Children" originated from the desire to help younger generations comprehend the intense, unconditional, and unfailing love God has for each one of us. Acknowledging the wonders God has done in our lives from an early age will help children nurture their trust, hope, joy, faith, and love in our awesome God

The purpose of paraphrasing the Psalms and writing them in simple terms was not to detract children from reading the original versions but to encourage their assimilation through their comprehension. Activities are included to reinforce the absorption of the psalms. These psalms are recommended to be meditated upon daily, even if the activities have been completed. The intent on this book is to strengthen children's relationship with their most loving God through praise, thanksgiving, and trust.
