The Substance of a Woman: Discovering Your Value to God and Your Destiny in Him

An incredible truth...

for all women to embrace and live!

"We are many things to many people," Elaine Walker writes of women. "We are daughters and confidants. We are girlfriends, wives, and lovers. WE are mothers, maids, and cooks. We are doctors and nurses, teachers and counselors, hairdressers and clothes buyers, interior decorators and fashion experts-all often in the same day, many times to the same people. We are vested with remarkable responsibility and authority through all of these roles. We are nothing short of amazing. "Yet as women, so many of us have so little self-esteem, so little sense of worth and purpose. We are incredibly adequate yet feel utterly inadequate. We are powerfully beautiful yet see ourselves as anything but attractive. We are created by God as His masterpieces yet believe that the canvas of our lives is torn, the gilded frame irreparably broken." Using the book of Genesis as her foundation, Bible teacher and speaker Elaine Walker shares how women were designed with incredible substance to achieve incredible things for God! Using the stories of women of substance from the Bible, Elaine lets all women know the truth. "We are unique and deserving of special focus and attention. We are to be looked upon. We are to be seen. We are to be valued."
