The Jesus Bible Study for 52 Weeks: Finding Jesus Throughout God's Story in the Bible

The Jesus Bible Study for 52 Weeks will help you encounter God's story from beginning to end--with all the main movements in between. You will start at the Beginning, in the Old Testament, when God created the world and gave humanity the purpose of becoming his image-bearers. You will discover how God's people led a Revolt against this plan--introducing sin, evil, and death into the world--but how God then raised up a People and gave them his covenants and laws so they could fulfill their original mission. As your exploration turns to the New Testament, you will see how God sent a Savior--fully human and fully divine--to announce his kingdom on earth and serve as the once-and-for-all sacrifice for sin. You will examine how this led to the birth of the Church, where God gathers, connects, empowers, and gifts his people to continue the original mission he gave to them of being his image-bearers. Finally, you will discover how the end of the story is actually just the beginning, for God has planned a Forever home for all who put their trust in Christ and are faithful to his purposes in their lives.
