Switched-On Schoolhouse Web Development in the 21st Century on a USB Drive (Upgraded Non-Flash Edition)

Students will demonstrate and apply knowledge of Web programming and hosting with the Switched-On Schoolhouse "Web Development in the 21st Century" elective. In addition, students will learn the basics of developing videogames and mobile applications and will create a simple example demonstrating animation, interactivity, and/or other multimedia elements. Emphasis will be placed on Internet programming basics, basic Web programming and Web hosting. Students will identify strategies for keeping up-to-date with new and emerging trends related to Internet programming and demonstrate knowledge of how to use advanced communication protocols. Grades 9-12.

Switched-On Schoolhouse is provided on a USB stick.
