Septuagint and Modern Study

It is the authors' desire to present the major updates in the developement of Septuagint studies since Ottley's Handbook to the Septuagint was written in 1920. Being that this was the last comprehensive work in its field a fresh work was long overdue. The author discusses current problems in this field of study as well as to suggest along what lines future studies might be expected to proceed.
