After spending ten years in Africa as a missionary, Joe Trulane returns to his hometown with a daughter in tow. What he doesn't expect is to find his high school sweetheart, Erin Spencer, with a foster daughter_or to hire Erin to tutor his child. Forced to spend time together, neither anticipates the old feelings that reignite. But Erin can't risk falling for Joe again-he's returning to Africa when the season ends.
