La primera carta del apóstol Pablo a los Corintios es uno de los libros más comentados de la Escritura. Y algunos de sus pasajes están entre los más utilizados y citados de todo el Nuevo Testamento: en el capítulo 11 encontramos las palabras pronunciadas regularmente en la celebración de la Eucaristía o Santa Cena: "Porque yo recibí del Señor lo que también os he enseñado: Que el Señor Jesús, la noche que fue entregado, tomó pan; y habiendo dado gracias, lo partió y dijo: Tomad, comed: esto es mi cuerpo que por vosotros es partido…" (1 Co. 11:23-29); en el capítulo 13 las utilizadas en mayoría de bodas: "Si yo hablara lenguas humanas y angélicas, pero no tengo amor, vengo a ser como bronce que resuena, o címbalo que retiñe…" (1 Co. 13:1-8).

The first letter of the Apostle Paul to the Corinthians is one of the most commented books of Scripture. And some of his passages are among the most used and cited of the entire New Testament: in chapter 11 we find the words spoken regularly in the celebration of the Eucharist or Holy Supper: "For I received from the Lord what I also taught you: That the Lord Jesus, on the night he was delivered, took bread; and having given thanks, he broke it and said: Take, eat: this is my body that is broken for you … "(1 Cor. 11: 23-29); in chapter 13 those used in most weddings: "If I speak human and angelic tongues, but have no love, I come to be like bronze that resonates, or a cymbal that retreats …" (1 Cor. 13: 1-8).
