Give your young students a jump start in their critical thinking skills with this book of analogies. Groups of pictures contain a pair of linked similar objects; children are asked to find the other pair of objects that share the same characteristics. Primary Analogies groups analogical relationships into five categories: descriptive, comparative, categorical, serial, and causal, with three levels of difficulty in each category. Eventually students progress to word analogies in standard form, and are even encouraged to make their own!
