PreScripts Cursive Sentences and Art Lessons: Ancient History

The Prescripts series from Classical Conversations is a pre-writing handwriting copywork course for children that refines cursive handwriting skills through copying--while integrating rich, history-based content.

Prescripts: Cursive Letters and Art Lessons: Ancient History integrates drawing lessons that cover elements of design and composition such as symbolism, perspective, history painting, and movement. Students will copy sentences that are divided into four sets of six history notes each, which cover the Punic Wars, the founding of Hinduism, Emperor Constantine, John Cabot & Samuel de Champlain, and other notes corresponding to the "Classical Acts & Facts History Cards: Ancient World." Pages can be reproduced in-family; reproducible consumable workbook. Grades: Ages 7-12 / Grades 2-7. At one page per year, there are enough pages for a complete school year (4-5 pages/week).
