New Testament Papyri Art Prints

The New Testament Papyri Art Prints are taken from a groundbreaking project that brings some of the oldest known manuscripts of the biblical text to a modern audience with beautiful high-quality photo images. These two art prints have been hand-selected from that facsimile, and showcase two pages on alternating black and white backgrounds.

This product includes two high-quality art prints showcasing P46, Folio 81 (Ephesians 6:21-24 and Galatians 1:1-8) on a black background; and P45, Folio 10 (Luke 9:26-41) on a white background.

The partially preserved papyrus codices P45 and P46 are dated from the third century and contain passages from all four Gospels, the book of Acts, the Pauline epistles, the book of Hebrews, and the Book of Revelation, making them some of the most significant witnesses to early Christian Scrip­ture that exist today. This collection bears heavily on our current understanding of the origins of the biblical text.
