My Thankfulness Journal, Beginner

Cultivate an attitude of gratitude and a habit of prayerful praise with My Thankfulness Journal: Beginner. As students recall the pleasant details of the day, they receive clear guidance for sharing thoughts in prayer. Each page also provides a verse of Scripture (KJV) for memory work or meditation. Handwriting examples are in New American Cursive.

Book I is for beginning writers (chronological ages 6-9 or comparable skill level). This level provides a large font with ample spacing for beginning writers and gives dotted lines for tracing. Children are also given the correct form for letter writing (greeting, indentation for body, closing) in every lesson; for the body of each letter, a numbered list (rather than paragraph writing) is given. Begins each entry, "Dear God," and closes, "Yours," with a space for the child to write his name.
