She has been a Christian since 1988, having come out of a 15-year lesbian lifestyle. Ruth is involved in Women's Ministry leadership and loves teaching Bible studies and speaking at various women's events. Recently, she founded Bridge of Hope Ministry, which provides hope for those struggling with same-sex desires and provides knowledge and understanding of the homosexual and the lifestyle for Christians to better minister the love of Christ to the struggler. Ruth lives in Fremont, Wisconsin.
