Living Under the Sovereign Hand of God

The days were filled with turmoil on every front. Yet in the midst of it was a virtuous man whose life and character was undaunted by the times. And then there was the young widowed woman who had just returned to town with her mother-in-law. She was different for sure, but there was something intangible and much more distinct about her. Maybe it was because she was new in her faith. Maybe it was her hard working habits, or her submissive spirit, or the major impact she had made upon the residents of the community, or maybe it was the way she went quietly about her business. Whatever it was, she was being prepared for a divine intersection with the man who had also been prepared. Little did either one of them know what God had prepared them to receive, and to do for His glory. He really does have prepared places for prepared people. Is this about Ruth and Boaz?
