Letters for Exiles by Andy Lamberton, This is the story of Daniel, who was ripped from his home and exiled to Babylon. The author imagines how a mentor might have encouraged Daniel to remain faithful to God, despite his current situation, and writes fictional letters to encouraging Daniel to stay faithful in this foreign land. Just like Daniel, we need wisdom and encouragement as we are citizens of heaven living in a foreign land. This story brings Daniel's experience to life as his mentor, Abel, disciples him-and us-to flourish in exile.
