Honor and Shame

In Honor and Shame Roland Muller introduces us to cultures where honor, shame, and fear run heavily within their respective societies. Muller illustrates the development of these cultural aspects over the years while showing their potential influence on our understanding of the gospel message. He then examines the way we traditionally present the gospel and the difficulties this poses for those raised in a shame/honor worldview. He then examines the Islamic religion in the light of this understanding of shame and honor.
