Grief to Grace

How does someone cope with the knowledge that she almost killed her son with her own truck? How does someone recover from guilt after her little girl's life is cut short because of a silly mother-daughter game? How does someone overcome flashbacks of a head on collision? These were the questions I had to ask after three separate automobile accidents shattered my world. The emotional pain they inflicted on me was unrelenting, causing me to cry out, "Lord, when will bad things stop happening to me?" I didn't think I could endure the wounds caused by these tragedies, but God helped me walk through the dark valley and back into the light. He can do the same for you. Lori Koos was raised in a loving home, attended Sunday school as a child, and entered into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ during her teen years. In the seventies her faith was tested by drugs and peer pressure. When she settled down to start a family, she resolved to put the past behind and instill godly values into her home. This resolve was tested by multiple tragedies, including the loss of her daughter's life. Through her trials and tribulations, she learned to rest in God's love. Today she is an avid lover of Jesus, serving members of her church and local community with compassion and grace. She and her husband, John, live in Molalla, Oregon.
