Forward: A Small Group Journey Toward a Full Life in Christ – Participant Guide

Study 2 Peter 1:3-11 and the virtues lifted up in this passage: Moral excellence, knowledge, self-control, endurance, godliness, affection for others, and love. There is a strong focus on actively pursuing a godly life…it's not just resistance to sin that matters, but an active pursuit of goodness and love, fully living into the new life that Christ offers believers. Forward helps Christ-centered small groups take the next step. They learn how to push one another forward in their shared life together. Pushing one another forward means helping one another grow in faith, knowledge, and actions consistent with a Christian life.

As a follow up to Cunningham's small group study called One, it follows One's format, including a participant book with teaching content and interactive elements; a leader guide; and video. However, small groups that have not previously used the One curriculum will enjoy Forward as a guide for developing Christian virtues with the support of and partnership of others in their small group.
