Finding Life: From Eden to Gethsemane - the Garden Restored - eBook

Forty Days of Deeper Devotion through Lent

The life lost in Eden is found through Gethsemane. Follow author Jane Rubietta on her daily journey through Lent as she traces the way that God the Son traverses with his people - a path that leads from the exile and death represented by the garden of Eden, to resurrection life like it is meant to be, occasioned by what began in the gospel's garden of Gethsemane.

Significantly, Jesus' ministry sometimes took place in garden settings: not only did he come because of what had been lost in Eden, but Jesus met with his disciples in a garden, he prayed in a garden, he was arrested violently in a garden, and he was buried in a garden tomb.

Part anecdotal, part personal, totally scriptural, Jane leads her devotional readers through the forty days of Lent with her trademark vulnerability and picturesque prose, providing in each devotion not only a good, deep read, but solid teaching and life application.

JANE RUBIETTA is the author of eleven books (some critically acclaimed), and she has written legions of devotionals and articles. She is a popular speaker with a broad platform, engaging a wide variety of ministry venues around the world and taking God's message of freedom to all who have ears to hear. Jame brings a voice of vulnerability, hope, and humor as she writes and speaks on issues close to people's hearts (for more information, visit janerubietta.com).
