Eyewitness to Glory: Moses: Discerning God's Active Presence

Moses was an eyewitness to the glory of God. Despite his sometimes crippling sense of inadequacy, he was chosen to free the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. Moses’ encounters with our Lord enabled him to continue despite his personal sense of unworthiness and the many obstacles and hardships he experienced along the way. "He persevered because he saw Him who is invisible" (Hebrews 11:27).

As you see God move on behalf of His people during the Exodus, you will gain a greater revelation of His matchless power and holy character. The same God who was concerned about His people’s suffering in Egypt and used Moses to deliver them from their oppression, is mindful of the matters that weigh heavily upon your heart. He is concerned about your suffering (Exodus 3:7), and in His way, and in His time, He will come to your rescue as well.

Through this study, you will follow Moses along his rough-and-tumble journey from his unlikely station as prince of Egypt to lonely fugitive and shepherd of his father-in-law’s flock. You will watch as the stammering, reluctant follower of God grows into one of the greatest leaders who ever lived. You will witness God’s active presence continually working on behalf of His people.
