Evil and Pain: A Critique of the Materialistic Account of Evil

In his new title Evil and Pain, author Dr. J.B. Onyango Okello explores the problem of evil and pain from a fresh ethical and philosophical perspective that incorporates faith in God. He argues that there is not always a direct correlation between pain and evil-the problem of pain may in fact be quite different from the problem of evil. Neither problem need cast doubt on one’s belief in God’s existence when viewed through the correct lens.
