Enjoying God's Gifts Student Manual (1st Grade)

The Positive Action Bible curriculum helps students learn about the God of the Word, not just about the Word of God. Teaching children to seek the majesty and grace of God in everything, this curriculum aims to magnify His majesty, works, and nature, and help students look for how God reveals himself through a message that shines through context, culture, and language.

In Grade 1 Enjoying God's Gifts, students will explore the many gifts of love that Jesus has given to us, including aspects of creation, families, friends, possessions, Jesus Christ, and God's care. Units for 1st grade focus on the story of creation, the stories of Noah, Abraham, Jacob and Joseph; the stories of Jesus, the story of David, the story of Elijah, and more.

This student manual features 35 bright and colorful lessons (one per week for an average school year). Simple directions are provided for each activity; lessons might ask students to complete "fill-in-the-blank" questions, number pictures in the right order, finish matching exercises, and more. This student book is designed to contain all of a student's activities as they listen to the lessons provided in the sold-separately Grade 1 Teacher's Manual.

A scripture memorization report chart is included for those families working through the optional scripture memorization segment of the program (provided in the teacher's manual).
