Diccionario Manual Bíblico (Biblical Dictionary Manual)

El Diccionario Bíblico Manual de CLIE, nace con un propósito muy concreto y determinado. Como su propio título indica al incluir el término "manual", se ha buscado un formato reducido  y una encuadernación en tapa flexible, similar al de una Biblia, para que el usuario pueda mantenerlo siempre al lado de la misma y consultar sin dilación, en todo momento, las palabras que en la lectura diaria o el estudio bíblico le resulten extrañas o le planteen dudas. Por esta razón se han sacrificado las ilustraciones en favor del contenido, a fin de poder incluir, de ese modo, la totalidad de vocablos importantes utilizados en el texto bíblico. Pese a su carácter básico, no deja de reseñar ni un solo personaje, ciudad, país, accidente geográfico, río, monte, torrente, etc., costumbres, objetos, ideas, creencias, que aparecen en las páginas bíblicas, reseñando además, por separado, la información de cada termino en el Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento, pero tratándola a la vez como parte de un todo, en cuanto testimonio revelado de una integral Historia de la Salvación.

The CLIE Manual Biblical Dictionary is born with a very specific and determined purpose. As its own title indicates by including the term "manual", a reduced format and a flexible cover, similar to that of a Bible, have been sought so that the user can always keep it next to it and consult without delay, at all times, the words that in the daily reading or the Bible study are strange or doubtful. For this reason illustrations have been sacrificed in favor of content, in order to include, in this way, all the important words used in the biblical text. Despite its basic character, it does not stop reviewing a single character, city, country, geographical feature, river, mountain, torrent, etc., customs, objects, ideas, beliefs, that appear in the biblical pages, also reviewing, by Separately, the information of each term in the Old and New Testaments, but treating it as part of a whole, as revealed testimony of an integral History of Salvation.
