Delight Teen Devotional: 30 Devotions for Finding Joy

In our crazy, tumultuous, challenging world, how do we find true and lasting joy? How do we delight in the Lord, even when life makes it hard to feel joyful? 

Despair, dejection, depression, down—these emotions and experiences are the opposite of joy. But joy is a difficult word to understand. Simply stated, joy is delight. 

In reality, delight has multiple meanings; to feel extreme joy and to bring extreme joy to another. Scripture tells us to delight in the Lord, and amazingly, that He also delights in us. 

While we may know this on the surface, it can be incredibly difficult to let the truth of real delight and joy seep into our hearts. Over the next 30 days, we will immerse ourselves in Scripture to see what God has to say about fighting our way out of depression into true and lasting joy.
