Dancing in the Dark, Youth- Popular Culture- and the Electronic Media

Five Calvin College professors address the youth culture dependency upon electronic media, and vice-versa. Insightful analysis of this symbiotic relationship reveals the generation gap between youth and older generations. The authors suggest principles for evaluating popular culture, media, and entertainment and provide suggestions on how to better related to teens and meet the needs of young adults.
