As Adam tried to hide from God on that fateful day, so do too many fathers still try to evade their God-ordained responsibilities. But just as God clothed Adam and Eve with an animal skin, so He has provided a Lamb, Jesus Christ, who was slain for our sins, but also bodily raised from the dead. This book is a call to forgiveness to those who have been wounded by their naked fathers, and to fathers to heed the call of God in their lives before it is too late. A native of Buffalo, New York, Sherman Nathaniel ( Buddy ) Crockett, Jr., graduated from Lafayette High School in 1975. While in the U. S. Air Force he bowed his sinful knees at the majestic feet of the risen Savior, Jesus Christ, on May the 20th, 1979. After being honorably discharged in 1980, he remained in Georgia, where he met his present wife, Barbara. They have three children, Caster, Rachel, and Hannah, and a grandson, Christian. He holds an undergraduate degree in English and a graduate degree in Education, both from the Fort Valley State University, and a graduate degree in Spanish Education from the University of Georgia. He is the president of ForgiveYourFather Ministries, a ministry of family healing and reconciliation, and is an ordained elder at the Timothy Baptist Church in Athens, Georgia, where Bishop Jerry F. Hutchins is the Senior Pastor. His favorite hobby is playing the guitar.
