Character Concepts Curriculum: Growing in Wisdom, Level 5 (Ages 8-13)

The Character Concepts Growing in Wisdom course by Marilyn Boyer will help children to learn to recognize common offenses, as well as their Biblical consequences and corresponding correction! Thirty-two chapters feature dual traits such as arguing/peacemaking, cheating/honesty, greediness/contentedness, and arrogance/humility. Each entry includes synonyms from Scripture that help to define the word, and application questions based on specific verses. Encouraging children to think through the biblical consequences of their actions, the related scripture verses, and how scripture should be applied to their lives, Growing in Wisdom will help you train up your children in the way they should go.

The Growing in Wisdom CD set features Rick Boyer reading Scripture selections studied in the curriculum and commenting on them, encouraging students to make the wise choice in everyday life as they face challenging situations. He teaches lessons on boldness, cheerfulness, diligence, and other important character qualities learned in the workbook.

The Growing in Wisdom 32-Flashcard Set aligns with the 32 lessons in Growing in Wisdom The front of the card features the negative character trait and inverse positive trait. The back side of the card features a Scripture verse which addresses the problem and a short insight that sums up the verse.
