Amy Coney Barrett: A Justice and Mother

Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett is a very busy person. She balances both family and issues of justice every day. Along with being a United States Supreme Court Justice, she is also a mother of seven, including two children adopted from Haiti and always finds time to remind them of her love and care. But when Justice Barrett sits in court, she serves her country. Like all federal judges, she has sworn to, "do equal right to the poor and to the rich,” and she works to protect America’s Constitution. With richly detailed full color illustrations, the Heroes of Liberty book series provides entertaining, story-driven biographies of American leaders who have embodied the values of freedom, faith, and family. 46 pages, hardcover. Ages 7 to 12.
