A Scientist in the Shadow of God

Research scientist that takes part in overseas ministries?
Not him, thought James Rapp, when he pictured the cautious
person he was, content just being a glass technician in a
reputable manufacturing company. However, gentle nudges from
God quickly led James out of his comfort zone and into a
thriving relationship with Jesus. In his new book, A
Scientist in the Shadow of God, James recalls countless
incidents where promptings from the Holy Spirit helped him
to overcome personal challenges and embrace opportunities of
blessing. It began with God's assistance to erase James's
fear of public speaking that led him into ministry, thanks
to impromptu ministry opportunities with his wife Sharon.
Through miraculous events at work, James traveled overseas
and soon was encouraging ministry in the Far East, primarily
in Japan, China and Taiwan. What started as a "Why me?"
mindset towards ministry later transformed into a lifelong
calling in evangelism.
