A Reason for Spelling, Level A: Teacher Guidebook (Updated Edition)

This teacher's guide accompanies the A Reason for Spelling Level A Student Workbook, Updated Edition (sold-separately). Lessons are divided with separate pages and specific activities for each day:

Day 1: features a Scripture verse to begin the week, along with a theme story that develops the principles found in the verse & optional discussion time. A pre-test, mini-scripted lesson, and challenge words are also included.

Day 2: includes a hide & seek activity, "other word forms" activities, and general/auditory/tactile/visual options for spelling.

Day 3: features the weekly language arts activity and scripture review

Day 4: uses dictation and proofreading exercises

Day 5: features the post-test, personal dictionary to add missed words, learning games, journal entry, and thought for the week.
