A Portrait of God: Stephen Charnock's Discourses upon the Existence and Attributes of God

Stephen Charnock (1628-1680) wrote what is considered to be the fullest treatment of the attributes of God, even though he did not live to complete the treatise. It is truly a biblical portrait of God drawn with a Puritan pen, rightly deserving its place among the best of Puritan productions and of English literature altogether. However, today's reader may find the 1146 pages a bit daunting.
