Spiritual warfare is a factual reality of our earthly existence. -Jesus said, "And from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force" (Matt11:12). Christians have angelic help in this battle. -Jesus said to Peter who struck off the ear of the servant of the High Priest, "Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and He shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?" (Matt 26:53). We are all enlisted as soldiers of the cross -Paul said to Timothy his young prot g, "Thou therefore endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life" (2Tim 3-4). Our adversary is the Devil who searches out his victims for devouring Apostle Peter identified the invisible enemy by name.
