180 Days of Spelling & Word Study for Third Grade (Grade Level 3)

Shell Education's 180 Days of Spelling and Word Study workbook includes 32 weekly units, each of which revolves around a specific phonetic pattern and includes five activities (word-bank sentence completions, analogies, synonym/antonyms, "turn the sentence around" and prefixes/suffixes). Units begin with a focus goal, a helpful hint, and a word list. A chart of "unit assessments" at the back of the book contains two words and a dictation sentence that fit the unit pattern.

In this 3rd grade workbook, students will explore long and short vowels, vowel teams, diphthongs, digraphs, hard/soft consonants, silent e, and r-controlled vowels alongside common prefixes, suffixes, and homophones.
