Dr. Peter Charpentier
Dr. Pete Charpentier has a Master of Arts degree in New Testament studies from Criswell College. Later, Dr. Charpentier pursued Ph.D. studies in New Testament at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, while he served as a full-time associate pastor at a local church in Hammond, LA. It was in this ministry context that God radically began to redirect and reshape his life’s service and studies. God led Dr. Charpentier to take some time off from his schooling while helping his church transition through a very difficult period In God’s time, Dr. Charpentier accepted the senior pastoral role in the church where he had been serving for six years as an associate pastor, and he also resumed studies and completed a D.Min. Degree. Dr. Charpentier and his wife Wendy eagerly desire to encourage pastors in their calling to serve in and through God’s local churches. They have been married for over twenty years and have two sons, Joseph and Joshua.
