The Absence of Prayer

No other subject in Christianity seems to capture the imagination more than prayer. It is discussed, written about, preached about and largely misunderstood. Many see it as labor and toil. Others recognize it at communing with God. Most feel like failures when it comes to their prayer lives. Does this have to be the case? I do not believe it does. No believer has to suffer through failure in order to eventually establish a solid prayer life. The author lays out a well-marked path to developing a solid prayer walk. Born and raised in Brooklyn with two other brothers, Melvin and Michael Young (his youngest brother, William H. Young Jr. was born Dec. 8, 1989), Derrick has, from a young age, striven to be a unique individual.
