Through many years working in the social service field, Sam has witnessed the most profound and shocking incidents of clients with substance abuse and mental health problems. From countless one-on-one sessions and group facilitating with individuals battling drug addiction, domestic violence, and mental health challenges, Sam has gained good knowledge relating to the topic of substance abuse and its spiritual/social roots. Sam has also been involved in church planting as a Pastor where he also provided spiritual counseling to individuals struggling with substance abuse. In addition he taught Sociological lessons as an adjunct, has a Master's in Sociology with a Bachelor's in Biblical Studies.
