P. L. Christian was born and raised Patricia Louise Rothe in Bergen County, New Jersey. Upon reaching adulthood she moved to the suburbs of Richmond, Virginia to develop her career, ministry, and quality of life. Pat has been writing creatively since her teens. She also performs business writing in her Information Technology consulting. Pat's passion for story telling has been demonstrated in her portrayal of Lucy Hillsman and Varina Davis, and other civil war period characters, beside in her writing. Pat's passion for inspirational stories developed in working her marketing business.
