Cindy Erwin Huff
Cindy Ervin Huff is a multipublished writer. She has been featured in numerous periodicals over the last thirty years. Her historical romance Secrets & Charades won the Editor Choice, Maxwell Award, and Serious Writer Medal. Her contemporary romance, New Duet (2018), placed second in the 2019 Serious Writer Awards and was a finalist in the 2019 Selah Awards. Healing Hearts, her novella, is included in The Smitten Romance Collection, The Cowboys.
Huff is a member of ACFW, a mentor for Word Weavers International, a founding member of the Aurora, Illinois, chapter of Word Weavers, and an alumna of the Christian Writer’s Guild. She loves to encourage new writers on their journey.
Huff taught mime and theater to homeschoolers and cotaught a creative writing class for at-risk kids. Over the years, she has written skits and programs for her home church, retreats, and for publication. Over the decades, she has worn many writing hats: newspaper columnist, online reporter, and radio scriptwriter for a children’s show. She has written magazine articles, short stories, and a second-grade reader. Writing historical romance feeds her love of history and happy endings. Her children have been known to roll their eyes as she spouts little-known historical facts while her grandchildren think she’s brilliant.
Huff and her husband make their home in Aurora, Illinois.
