Whispers in the Wind

As a busy oncologist, Dr. Al Weir has lived a long and complex life, filled with family, friends, patients, missions and a lost culture around him. In all these facets of life, God's Word is vital for truth and direction, but life is so busy and its wind is so loud that His voice is often hard to discern. Sometimes we can be still and know that He is God. Each day we should be seeking truth in His Word, but we spend most of our days in busyness and loudness. It is into that active, energetic life of noise that God wants to speak, and we need to hear. Our lives are a voyage that began in God's plan long before we were born, and He hands us the rudder to choose the direction we will travel. If we watch closely and listen hard, His whisper will become amazingly clear, even when the winds are whipping around us, and we can continue to sail in His direction.
