When God is Silent

What do you do when you have prayed, but something unexpected happens, seemingly contrary to the Word of God? Maybe someone you have prayed for to be saved is still not saved and you begin to question whether salvation is for everyone. Or maybe you have given of your finances into the kingdom of God, but you have not seen a return on your giving and you begin to wonder if prosperity is for some people but just not for you. Perhaps you have prayed for healing for a family member or friend, but they died.

One of Satan's greatest tactics against the mature believer is to convince him or her that God's Word does not work. The devil's ultimate goal is for disciples of Jesus to become so disillusioned they turn from God completely or hide their light under a bushel becoming self-conscious about their faith enough to hide it from others.

When God is Silent explores what our response is to be during those times when we don't understand, our prayers are unanswered, and God seems silent.
