Spelling Plus Grade 1 Teacher Edition

This Elementary Spelling Plus Grade 1 Teacher Edition is designed to be used with the Elementary Spelling Plus Grade 1 Student Edition {LINK} (not-included and sold-separately). Teachers have the flexibility to be able to add content/subject-specific spelling words to the weekly chapters.

This full-color guide is packed with resources including teacher devotionals, objectives, instructions for each student exercise, recommendations for biblical integration, extensive activities, homework suggestions, differentiated instruction, and a link to downloadable supplemental resources. The detailed lessons feature step-by-step instructions that include distribution of work, examples, and some scripted questions; student pages are included with the answers overlaid. In addition, this teacher edition includes proofreading instructions, word lists with pattern/high-frequency/challenge words, and enri chment/extension activities.

This program uses a five-day systematic approach: Warm Up (Pretest), Phonics, Word Study, Writing, Wrap Up (Posttest). Five readiness chapters in Grade 1 precede spelling list chapters.
